Just because it’s always been done a certain way, does not mean that you are locked in to repeat it. Innovation is born from breaking away from the expected. If you are going to make any impact on your world, it’s not going to come from following what came before it.
Turn it upside down. Inside out. Take it apart and assemble it without the instructions. Don’t worry about whether someone else will like it (or hate it for that matter). Do it for the sake of doing it.
