500 New vectors uploaded to the Store
The VECTORVAULT : STORE has been growing over the past few months. Much of that growth has to do with you and the 16,800 + members spreading the word about our library of cost effective vector art. Now, we’re getting ready to kick it up a notch by adding over 500+ new vector images mostly ranging in price from $1 to $3. These images are being added to the store one at a time to ensure that they are all tagged properly for searching. Here is the RSS feed for new store products. Subscribe so that you can keep your eye on the release of new images that may come in handy.

A big thanks for taking a few moments on the VECTORVAULT October 2009 Newsletter. The feedback on the artists and their vector masterpieces was outstanding. Our membership has broken 16,500 and it continues to climb steadily.
Traffic to the site set off a chain reaction of comments all across our network. From the AFFILIATE PROGRAM, we dished out some healthy commissions to smart people who turn links into steady cash (18% commission!). In this economy, who couldn’t use some extra cabbage?
The VECTORVAULT : STORE is exploding with deadly, industry standard royalty free vectors every week. There’s a shift in this industry of image production. Instead of spending big money with large stock houses people like you are investing in people like me. Our products reflect that.
Some purists take the stance that stock vectors border on cheating. Drawing your own is somehow regarded in a higher esteem. Nonsense. Design has mutated into a complex puzzle of esthetics and data. Our vectors are engine parts. They are equations and solutions that fit in specific ways. You need tools to survive, so we build custom tools that make problems go away.
Much respect to those who love vector art. By reading this you are contributing. That means a great deal to me. I hope that you return often. In return, I’ll do my best to round up the best vector art I can get my mitts on.

Stan Chow has produced this wonderful poster Greenpoint Oktoberfest in Brooklyn NY. It combines all of the things that we love: Busty beer maidens, german sausage and vector art. It’s a triple threat. Well done Stan.

Vectorvault membership breaks 14,000
They said it couldn’t be done (well, the lady at my grocery store – but we showed her!). Fourteen thousand strong and picking up steam – Vectorvault has really benefited from your dedication to great vector design and illustration. What an accomplishment!

Getting to the point – A word about commitment
Commitment. That’s a strong word. To some it’s something they run from most of their lives, and to others it’s the foundation for bigger things.
Whether you’re in a relationship, a career, or a project that is very important to you – commitment plays a key role. It’s the difference between getting the results that you want and coming up short. However, commitment does not mean obsession. It is equally as important to know when to step back and take a break. I’m working on this myself.
You can be committed to something (or someone) without allowing it to shape your life. I’ve learned this the hard way through my experiences building Vectorvault with you. I had to try not to loose site of my goals, without remembering what motivated me in the first place.
This project is about you. Not me. It’s about the artists who dare to explore their creativity and the ones who support it. My commitment to Vectorvault is strong, and I hope that you continue doing what you can to share it with others. We’re in this together.

Today is a special day for many Christians around the world, but also a day of reflection for many people of different faiths. Anchorpoint is made up of a diverse range of people with many different beliefs and backgrounds, and we are proud to represent them all.
In this world filled with chaos and uncertainty, it’s nice to see that art has allowed this community to find common ground. With your help, Vectorvault has connected many different people with contradicting view points. It is through sharing dreams and expression that we find similarities among strangers.

Jeff Gilbert and his friends at Mansplat Magazine are not only innovative and creative, they are generous contributers to the Vectorvault community. Since the “get-go”, these cats have supported vector art and the people who bring them to life. So it’s only natural that we began to take notice of the incredible work going on with their magazine.
We tried to summarize the philosophy of this group up in a nutshell. However, that proved difficult. The truth is, this magazine is a hurricane of 50’s sci-fi, metal, horror, comedy and a pinch of soft core porn for flavor. We thought that it would be better for you to explore it on your own and make friends with this interesting group.
