Vectorvault has really been a great vehicle for meeting people who are passionate about digital art. One such person is Anchorpoint member Peter from VectorvaultWallpapers.net. He has taken a special interest in vector art. His website showcases some incredible wallpapers that are easy to browse and inspiring to look at.
Here’s Peter’s definition of vector graphics:
“Vector graphics (also called geometric modeling or object-oriented graphics) is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and polygons, which are all based upon mathematical equations to represent images in computer graphics. It is used by contrast to the term raster graphics, which is the representation of images as a collection of pixels (dots).”

We like what we’re seeing over at Digital Artist Toolbox. We have only been aware of them for a few months now. But already they’ve begun to offer some really interesting and inspiring content.

Our friends at Digital Artist Toolbox have been kind enough to provide this great Free download. The quality is terrific and I think that you should have no trouble finding some use for these.
Download the art, then visit the source to give thanks and explore their website from top to bottom. They are slowly building quite a resource for designers and illustrators.
