This is the last painting I ever produced.
The original is 6 feet by 4 feet and proudly hangs on the wall in my home.
When my wife and I were first married, we shared a small apartment.
While we waited for our first home to be built, I painted this.
It took 3 months. She posed. I painted.
This painting is very special to us both.
It crystalizes the optimism and love in our lives at the time.
This piece was done in acrylic and ink on canvas.
I also used pencil crayons to sketch in line art and shapes over top of the paint.
The original has a reflective gloss.
Painted in the year 2003.
I captured this moment to share with you in the form of a print.
Select from 3 sizes.
Each fit an IKEA Ribba frame perfectly.

Hot off the presses
Before I even poured the milk on my Froot Loops this Morning, I received this image from the Proprint Retail Production Studio. What a great way to start the day.
High Quality Production
I did my homework. I wanted a printer that could handle large format retail print production. Not some guy printing business cards in his basement. I researched them all. Asking Point of Sale experts who they turn to.
A friend of mine who works at the top level of a major food brand recommended Proprint.
Sarcastically, I said:
“Let me guess, they’re the best in the biz right?”
He looked at me square in the eyes and said very certainly:
That got my attention.
Great Service. Brilliant Quality.

Jonathan has done a wonderful job achieving smooth textures and colours. And on top of that, they are so darn cute. These comfort foods actually give me comfort.
Vector art is what we are all about. And after all these years. That never seems to really change. It’s work like this that remind us what is so special about this style of digital art. It requires the discipline or an artist and the soul of a mathematician.
