Today, my issue of Advanced Photoshop Magazine arrived. Much to my delight, Vectorvault has been featured in an article called Shop For Stock about some of the best resources for designers and digital illustrators.
It feels really terrific to be recognized by such an impressive magazine. Advanced Photoshop Magazine has always stood for great digital art, and now Vectorvault has been given a nod. It’s a great feeling.
When you swing by a magazine rack, pick up a copy. We have contributed a $5 discount coupon along with 48 free vectors included on their freebie disc.
It’s our way of saying “Thank you”. To the publication, but most importantly to the “clickity-clickers” out there who keep the world of vector art growing. Respect to those who choose to create, in a time that has dealt with so much destruction. Keep building dreams that lead to somewhere. All the best for 2011.

This limited-edition digital piece was created as a tribute to most valuable asset – my family. I am motivated by a primal duty to keep them safe. The concept was created to convey the lengths in which we will go to accomplish that.

Rewind Selector!
One-of-a-kind NFT
Rewind Selector!
by Adam Jarvis (aka. Vectorvault)
Back in the day, in a crowded party, if a DJ played the opening of a song and the room exploded with excitement, it was not uncommon to hear the phrase “Rewind Selector!” A call to turn back the hands of time so that you can relive a moment. If only that magic phrase could rewind us to those moments in our lives that we were supposed to savour. Check one two.
This manually-animated NFT has 413 frames.
The fourth NFT minted for the “Black – White – Red” collection.

Rewind Selector! by Vectorvault
This NFT was created as a tribute to music lovers of a certain age. Tragically, some will never know the stress of surgically repairing a cassette with a pencil. Most have never had to wait with their finger on the record button and literally “wait” for their song to come on the radio in order to capture it. There was a time when cassettes were the audio format of choice. before CDs, there were small plastic cases with hand written playlists on a small fold out card.
This digital piece is a mixture of black and white video layered in custom vector elements from the Vectorvault library. With personal touches and small details, this unique NFT is filled with nostalgic hits (on both side A and B).
Inspiration
Music is a very important thing in my life. I wanted to create a token that embodied the feelings from a time long past. Before the internet, there was a time where music was a treasure that you had to hunt for. was it better back then? In a word – yes.

Turntable Deconstructed
One-of-a-kind NFT
Turntable Deconstructed
by Adam Jarvis (aka. Vectorvault)
Round and round we go. This tribute NFT is inspired by countless hours of listening to music on vinyl. Reading liner notes and admiring the artwork of album jackets. Dropping more needles than a seamstress. Pulling memories from milk crates and dancing the night away.

Turntable Deconstructed by Vectorvault
This NFT was created as a tribute to audiophiles everywhere. For those who love vinyl albums and the art that accompany them. A deconstructed breakdown of the inner mechanics of a turntable. Dropping the needle on an iconic piece of equipment.
Inspiration
When I was a young teenager, I met this kid who invited me over to his house after school. As it turns out, his dad was a DJ and his basement was filled with records. Every day after school we listened to music and admired the album jackets. These afternoons effected my understanding of music and my tastes to this very day.
Music has played a strong role in my life. I became actively involved in the legendary Toronto House Music Scene of the late 80’s and early 90’s. I organized parties and befriended many DJ’s who I consider friends to this day. Their mix tapes and early morning warehouse parties helped to shape me. This piece in a way is a tribute to them. To the disc jockey’s who have curated the ambiance of my youth.
