To commemorate my 50th birthday, I have collected a few lists of 50 of my favourite things. Ever since I bought my first Mac in 1993, I have been creating digital art and designing for a galaxy of interesting people and brands. This stroll down memory lane has given me a chance to reflect on a very rewarding career.

When I was teenager, I worked at a video store. For those of you who are too young to remember what that is: once upon a time, you had to physically borrow video tapes to play movies in a machine in your home. I’ve seen ’em all. Good, bad and everything in between. No single art form has influenced me quite like movies have.
On my 50th birthday, I thought that it would be interesting to list some of my favourites. If you have missed any of these, I recommend you take a closer look. I purposely left out well known classics and tried to keep it interesting.
The line between the man and the Vectorvault brand is a blurry one at best.
