This is one of the most important messages a designer can adhere to.
Anyone can design sloppy files that look good. The real measure of a designer is to build files that other designers can carry on with. Clean, well labelled layers is a big part of that.

Very few do it better than Threadless. They seem to be a magnetic source for some of the best vector illustrators around and their success is no doubt magnified by the customers who gobble up these cotton billboards.

Kevin Dart is a stylish genius. I think that’s pretty obvious from his work on Yuki7 and the Gadget Girls alone. This vector illustrator has a comfortable approach that is retro and modern all at the same time. Not an easy task, I assure you. This cat is “special“.
This time, he has designed a beautiful T-shirt for the internet juggernaut Boing Boing. It fires a torpedo straight into our hearts here at Vectorvault. Well done.
