Mastering vector illustration is not an easy task. Especially if you are not very familiar with Adobe Illustrator or vector art file formats like .eps and .ai.
Rest assured that skill and creativity get you only so far these days. To take projects to their finish line, you got to keep your head cool when the pressure begins to build. Tight timelines, and the frustrations of navigating an ambitious piece of software like Adobe Illustrator can be daunting.
Move at the pace that your particular task requires. Ask questions. Take risks and you’ll find yourself stumbling into some very creative discoveries. Luck also plays a part. And always remember one very important thing:
“ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR WILL ALLOW YOU TO TAKE THINGS WHERE YOU NEED TO GO, BUT MULTIPLE UNDOS CAN REVERSE YOU TO ANY POINT IN TIME TO CHOOSE ANOTHER PATH”.
(Or in the case of vector artists – to draw another path) ……. : )
Be patient and keep your stress level low. The best work comes when you reach a state of comfort with the software. It will come.

The best designers I have ever worked with don’t get too high or low with their mood. Patience truly is a virtue.
