Since A Scanner Darkly came onto the scene, rotoscope technology has become a very popular vector animation technique. Probably because it meets reality and art right in the middle somewhere. Although this commercial is not in english, it still communicates it’s universal message of “never keep a woman waiting”. Charming and stylish.

I love this technique. It looks so interesting. It’s illustrated, yet my brain seems to relate to it as real. I would like to see this art form progress into new places.
Very awesome style and would love to see more of it. I know how time consuming rotoscoping can be so I’m really impressed by how smooth the “animation” is.
