Imagine a “Day made of Glass“. Corning has re-imagined the future with products that are utopian and marvellous. It really makes tomorrow look extraordinary. Optimistic and well-executed. Vector interfaces everywhere!

The folks over at Corning have produced a film about the not too distant, forseable future. A future made mostly from touchscreen glass. In the future, everything will be made of glass, and apparently all of that glass, will have touch-screen interactive video capabilities. It seems as though touch screen technology is something to watch out for. Interface designers and vector illustrators take note. What do you think? Trend or fad? I’m hoping it continues to drive creative applications like this. Amazing and stylish.
You’re right. However, COVID has made everyone reluctant about touching surfaces. It makes you wonder whether interface design (UI) will move towards gestures.
